From the Configuration 
Gate Gate Configurations view (on page 1), select the gate configuration gate stage where you want to include the announcement.
In N4, you can publish announcements on gate tickets to ensure that everyone is informed about the announcements. You can include any number of announcements in a gate ticket.
To add an announcement to a truck visit transaction document, ensure that the following pre-requisites are met:
A gate stage is configured and it includes the truck visit stage. For more information on adding a truck visit stage, see Trk Visit form (on page 1).
The CreateTruckVisitDocument (on page 1) business task and the LogAnnouncement (on page 1) business tasks are included at the truck visit stage.
An announcement marked as applicable for Gate exists. For more information on adding an announcement, see Announcements view (on page 1).
To include an announcement on a gate ticket:
From the Configuration Gate Gate Configurations view (on page 1), select the gate configuration gate stage where you want to include the announcement.
Select the truck visit stage where you want to include the announcement.
Right-click the truck visit stage and select Edit to edit the gate stage.
On the Trk Visit form (on page 1), click the Edit Business Tasks button.
N4 displays the Business Tasks form (on page 1).
Ensure that the CreateTruckVisitDocument and LogAnnouncement business tasks are included.
In the docTypeId parameter, specify the Document Type ID of the gate document where you want to include the announcement.
To add a new document type, see Documents view (on page 1).
Use the Operations Gate <GateStage> tab (on page 1) to complete an ingate stage.
Go to the Operations Gate Truck Visits view (on page 1) and search for the truck visit you just created.
Double-click the record to access the Truck Visit Inspector (on page 1).
On the Documents tab (on page 1), select the gate document.
Select Actions Export in XML-format.
The exported XML contains the announcements relevant to the gate stage.
